[Saba Sports News] The FIA has announced the calendar for the 2025 F1 season, with the Australian Grand Prix scheduled to take place from March 13 to 16. This will be Australia’s first time hosting the F1 season opener since 2019. According to the organizing committee, fans can purchase tickets for next year’s Australian Grand Prix starting October 8. The Albert Park event next year will mark Jack Doohan’s F1 debut, and with McLaren’s Oscar Piastri also confirmed in the 20-driver lineup, there are already two Australian drivers set to compete. If Daniel Ricciardo can secure a new contract with Red Bull’s second team, that number could rise to three; if Liam Lawson can land a driver seat, it could even include a New Zealander. The uniqueness of the Australian Grand Prix lies in its four-day track activities. Among them, Formula 2 and Formula 1 races will headline the weekend, along with supercar races and the Australian Porsche Carrera Cup. There is high interest from fans for this event, and the organizing committee expects tickets to sell out quickly. Over the past three years, attendance at this event has reached record highs. Data shows that a total of 452,055 fans attended the 2024 Australian Grand Prix track activities, surpassing 444,631 attendees in 2023.
