[Saba Sports News] Anthony Edwards was clearly enjoying himself, putting on a show for the kids at his camp. It’s amusing to think he wouldn’t hold back while playing 1-on-1 with them, possibly still in the competitive mindset from the Olympics or the 2024 NBA Playoffs.
These dunks, even against young kids, might give Edwards a confidence boost heading into the upcoming NBA season. He and the Timberwolves are aiming to build on last season’s success and potentially make their first-ever NBA Finals appearance.
Now entering his fifth season, Edwards has established himself as the face of the Timberwolves. Last season, he led the team to the third seed in the Western Conference, playing a key role in their playoff run.
Edwards helped sweep the Suns in the first round, then upset the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, in a seven-game series to reach the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2004.
Though they fell short to the Mavericks, Edwards had an impressive postseason and capped it off by winning an Olympic gold with Team USA this summer, setting the stage for a big season ahead.
Anthony Edwards doesn’t care about his opponents’ size, skill, or age. At his recent camp, he played 1-on-1 against some young participants and, instead of going easy on them, unleashed ruthless dunks on the kids.
