[Saba Sports News] Thai badminton prodigy Kunlavut Vitidsarn, who recently won a silver medal in the men’s singles at the Paris Olympics, has caught the public’s attention. In a recent media interview, Kunlavut expressed his admiration for Japanese badminton star Chiharu Shida, who also garnered attention at the Paris Olympics. He openly stated that he really likes Chiharu Shida and even hopes to form a mixed doubles pair with her if given the chance. Kunlavut said, “Chiharu Shida, because she’s cute. Really, really, she’s very cute.” However, forming a mixed doubles team might be difficult since they are from different countries, making national team cooperation challenging. As a top player in Thai badminton, Kunlavut’s comments are certainly professionally significant and show recognition of Shida’s performance in badminton. Shida’s excellent skills, fighting spirit, and unique charm on the court have likely deeply attracted Kunlavut.
