[Saba Sports News] Australian driver Oscar Piastri revealed on Twitter that he competed with an injury before the summer break. It is reported that he sustained the injury during the Austrian F1 Grand Prix at the end of June. On July 8, he finished fourth in the British F1 Grand Prix, and after the race, he went to the hospital for an X-ray examination, which showed that he had a fractured rib. However, he decided to keep this information secret. He then went on to win the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix with a fractured rib, unbelievably achieving his first-ever podium finish in his career. Media praised Piastri as a very special talent who knows how to unleash his potential, and they believe he will have more consistent performances in future races. What’s even more surprising is that Piastri’s teammate Lando Norris had his nose cut by glass while attending a party in Amsterdam in April. The bandaged appearance at the time looked a bit frightening, but Norris’ condition was not affected at all, and he went on to win the Miami F1 Grand Prix and stood on the podium in several races before the summer break. Some fans joked that winning with an injury has become a tradition for the McLaren team.
