[Saba Sports News] LeBron James and Stephen Curry dazzled at the Paris Olympics, but their time as teammates is likely over. According to an anonymous league executive, the two superstars will “never” be on the same team again, whether in the Olympics or any other level.
“Did someone really suggest LeBron and Steph might team up again? That will never happen,” an NBA source told Sam Amico. “Their time as teammates is done for good.”
LeBron and Curry, who were key players for Team USA, led the team to an undefeated run and secured gold, with LeBron earning MVP honors.
Despite their successful collaboration, their careers will now likely return to their usual rivalry, as LeBron, 39, and Curry, 36, are nearing the ends of their NBA journeys.
Curry has already indicated that this was his first and last Olympic appearance, while LeBron has plans to retire with the Lakers.
As they continue with their respective teams, the chances of seeing them join forces again are slim to none.
