[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, former England goalkeeper Joe Hart will join the famous BBC program “Match of the Day” in the new season as a studio pundit. Joe Hart has previously been part of the BBC punditry team, contributing to the coverage of the England national team during the European Championships this summer. The 37-year-old Joe Hart, who has made 340 appearances in the Premier League and helped Manchester City win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and two League Cup titles, officially announced his retirement after helping Celtic win the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup “double” last season. In the new season, retired Joe Hart will join regular “Match of the Day” presenters, former England strikers Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer, in the studio. “Match of the Day,” which was launched in 1964, will return this Saturday. It is expected that the BBC will announce the roles of several other professional pundits through a new studio panel. In the new season, former Manchester City teammate Micah Richards, among others, will also play more prominent roles as experts.
