[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, former Leeds United goalkeeper Kristoffer-August Sundquist Klaesson has signed with Polish club Chojniczanka Chojnice a month ago, but due to a surprising reason, his contract might be terminated. Klaesson joined Chojniczanka Chojnice in July for a transfer fee of 1.8 million euros. However, just a month later, the club expressed concerns about his physical condition after he was found eating at a local McDonald’s. This behavior has raised concerns and could even result in him becoming a free agent. This is not the first time Klaesson has made headlines for off-field behavior. In April 2024, he was involved in a car accident in Norway and was hospitalized. Leeds United later confirmed that he was the driver in the accident. Although Klaesson didn’t become the first-choice goalkeeper at Leeds United, he performed well in the youth team and made 20 appearances for the Norway U21 national team. After leaving Leeds United, he stated that he had to accept a significant pay cut to join Chojniczanka Chojnice.
