[Saba Sports News] The Chinese badminton team arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on July 20, local time, after a 10-hour flight. Currently, they are staying at the Chinese delegation support camp in Deauville for a four-day adaptive training. After adjusting to the time difference and local climate, they plan to move into the Olympic Village on July 24. Deauville, located in the Normandy region, is a well-known coastal city in France with a permanent population of over 4,000. The Chinese sports delegation chose it as a training camp before the Olympic Games to allow athletes to focus on their preparation. Besides the special training venue, the Chinese badminton team also has a dedicated physical training room equipped with equipment transported from China by the delegation. Athletes from around the world have been arriving at the Olympic Village since its opening on July 18. However, some have reported incomplete facilities and poor food quality. To provide a better environment for their players, the Chinese badminton delegation decided to settle in the Olympic Village two days before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
