[Saba Sports News] In the recently concluded F1 Hungarian Grand Prix, McLaren secured the championship and the runner-up positions, delivering an outstanding performance. However, it was a surprising outcome for the upgraded Red Bull Racing Team, with Max Verstappen, the favorite to win the championship, finishing in a rare fifth place. In a post-race interview with the media, Verstappen admitted his frustration with the team’s situation and attributed it to a car issue. Verstappen stated, “I’m really troubled. The car is simply not good enough. I felt like I didn’t make many mistakes during my fast laps, but the car was too unstable and significantly slower.” Although Red Bull Racing has not disclosed the details of the car upgrades for this race, recent photos indicate some modifications, including further exploration of the heat dissipation air intake and new transverse side air intakes. The wider and flatter mouth aims to enhance the down force of rear diffuser by allowing more high-speed airflow. However, the results did not meet expectations. The team may need to reassess the car’s weaknesses and adjust their research and development focus.
