[Saba Sports News] Malaysian badminton legend, Lee Chong Wei, recently shared insights in his “I Ask Lee Answers” program on his personal Instagram account, where he answered fans’ questions through videos. In the latest episode, Lee Chong Wei mentioned that owning a super car is a dream for all athletes. He clarified that he doesn’t own ten luxury cars, but admitted that his first car was a Malaysian-made Proton Hero, followed by a Proton Hua and a Toyota Wish. Lee Chong Wei revealed that during his training, his mentor, Coach Misbun Sidek, once asked him about his dream. At the age of 19, Lee Chong Wei expressed his aspiration to become the number one badminton player in Malaysia and to own a car. In response to a fan’s question about joining the Badminton Association of Malaysia as a coach, Lee Chong Wei stated that he had never considered such an idea. However, he visits the Malaysian national team once or twice a month to meet with the coaches of the Malaysian Badminton Association, where he shares his experiences and helps solve game-related issues. After dedicating most of his time to badminton during his 25-year career as an athlete, Lee Chong Wei looks forward to spending quality time with his family and enjoying their happiness in retirement.
