[Saba Sports News] According to reports from French media, the family of Kylian Mbappe is interested in acquiring French second division club Caen. Prior to joining Monaco in 2013, Mbappe had considered joining Caen. Now, eleven years later, the newly-signed Real Madrid forward may invest in the Normandy-based club. The Mbappe family is reportedly considering purchasing the club as part of their expansion plans, similar to corporate ventures in America. The potential new projects would be operated through their company, “KM7,” which is led by his mother, Fayza Lamari. While Mbappe is expected to become the majority shareholder of Caen, a local rapper named Oresan has also shown interest in buying a stake. After concluding his Ligue 1 career, Mbappe will play for Real Madrid in the upcoming season. Additionally, his 17-year-old brother, Ethan Mbappe, left Paris Saint-Germain this summer to join Lille. Caen will be competing in the French second division for the sixth consecutive season.
