[Saba Sports News] According to British media, seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is reportedly negotiating to take over the MotoGP Gresini team, which currently includes MotoGP legend Marc Marquez i Alenta, an eight-time MotoGP world champion. Following his seventh F1 world championship, Hamilton began investing in the sports world. In 2022, he became a partner of the Denver Broncos NFL and established his own racing team, called the X44 team, in Extreme E, with the number 44 derived from his F1 car number. Regarding the rumors of becoming the boss of a MotoGP team, Hamilton expressed his interest in the potential development of the sport, stating that he has always liked MotoGP. However, he admitted that he hasn’t delved deeply into it yet, but considers anything possible. Hamilton has been a big fan of MotoGP, having participated in a ride swap with legendary rider Valentino Rossi in 2019 and collaborated with the Italian brand MV Agusta to design a limited edition motorcycle in 2015.
