[Saba Sports News] Badminton enthusiasts may encounter a common problem: the stringing service at their usual playing venue may not be satisfactory, and it can be time-consuming and labor-intensive to go elsewhere for stringing. As a result, some badminton enthusiasts have started teaching themselves stringing skills. Some golfers opt to work part-time at sporting goods stores, where they can not only learn stringing skills but also earn pocket money to buy equipment. With the advent of the Internet, almost any product can be purchased online, and some golfers choose to study stringing on their own by purchasing the “Stringer’s Yearbook” published by the Chinese Stringer Society. The Chinese Stringer Society has also established a communication and learning platform, but there is a membership fee of US$60. Additionally, golfers can participate in regular stringing training offered by major brands. For example, Victory Company has the VICTOR Stringer Academy, which has been conducting VSI stringer training and certification annually since 2008. Victory Company’s stringing training not only covers stringing techniques but also includes related knowledge about badminton and products, such as replacing hand grips and adjusting grip size. It also covers the protection and care of sports injuries.
