The match came just 1,100 days after he suffered a cardiac arrest against Finland three years ago. After the game, Eriksson gave an interview to share his feelings.
Eriksson said: “This time I’m in a very different situation from last time. Luckily, I’ve played a lot of games. I am confident in the game and happy to play. It’s always special to play in the European Championships.”
