It is reported that the mayonnaise giant Hellmann’s had chosen Grealish as their spokesperson for the European Championship and even launched a burger named after him. The company had hoped that Grealish’s popularity would help boost sales during the tournament. However, Grealish was eventually dropped from the England’s European Championship squad, leaving Hellmann’s surprised. During the burger launch in April, Grealish had stated, “This summer, as we enjoy delicious barbecues at home, we share the same connection with our families. It’s fantastic to be working with Hellmann’s. So, let’s ignite our barbecue enthusiasm and try the Grealish burger.” Some netizens jokingly suggested that it is best to enjoy this burger at home, just like Grealish. Now, Hellmann’s needs to reconsider their marketing activities for Euro 2024.
