[Saba Sports News] With approximately one month remaining until the Paris Olympics, the English badminton men’s doubles pair, Ben Lane and Sean Vendy, recently shared their thoughts on the upcoming Games in an interview. They expressed their aspirations to compete in the Olympics and achieve their childhood dream of winning a gold medal in the men’s doubles event. Vendy and Lane mentioned that winning gold would be the biggest accomplishment in their sporting careers thus far, and they hope it will positively impact their lives. The pair, who have been partners since the age of 12, won the Yonex Swiss Open earlier this year in March. They also participated in the previous Tokyo Olympics, although they were unfortunately eliminated in the group stage. However, they believe that their off-court chemistry will provide them with an advantage in the upcoming Olympics.
