[Saba Sports News] Recently, the England national team announced their squad for the European Championship. Surprisingly, Manchester United’s star player Marcus Rashford was not included in the roster. Following the announcement, Rashford made some changes to his social media accounts, leading fans to speculate on his dissatisfaction with the omission. Rashford updated his social status, expressing his intention to take a break from social media for a few weeks. He changed his avatar to black as well. Rashford’s message stated, “After a challenging season, it’s time for me to take a good rest and reset my mindset. I appreciate the support of my fans during this difficult period. I also want to thank those who have been part of my journey at Manchester United.” In comparison to his previous season’s statistics of 30 goals and 10 assists in 56 games, Rashford’s performance this season has been less remarkable, with only 8 goals and 5 assists in 43 games. The editor believes that this decline in performance is the main reason behind his exclusion from the squad.
