[Saba Sports News] Last weekend, the F1 circuit arrived at Imola for the European leg of the season. Several teams introduced upgrade kits during this race, but the outcomes varied for each team. Aston Martin Racing, in particular, faced challenges with their upgrades. The intended upgrades included modifications to the front wings, floor, hood, and diffuser. However, these changes did not result in the desired competitiveness, and Aston Martin still found themselves trailing behind competitors like Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren. To compound their issues, the car proved difficult to control at high speeds, leading to driver Fernando Alonso finishing 19th. In an attempt to gather more data, the team made adjustments to the suspension settings and opted to start from the pits, turning the race into a test session. Alonso showed slight improvement, moving up to ninth place and earning the team two points.
