This victory earned him 92,000 points and secured his spot in the upcoming Malaysian Masters. In an interview with the media, Li Zijia confidently stated that his goal is to win the next championship. He expressed that despite the pressure of not having a Malaysian player win a championship at home in a while, he remains focused on his goal. Born in March 1998, Lee Zii Jia is currently the highest-ranked male badminton player in Malaysia. He has been performing well in recent years and has already qualified for the Paris Olympics in July. He is determined to improve his competitive status before the Olympics and ultimately win the gold medal in the men’s singles event.
