[Saba Sports News] Recently, Korean badminton world champion Kim Ha Na shared a family photo of her trio on social media, drawing significant attention from fans. In the snapshot, Kim Ha Na’s son beams happily at the camera, while the faces of the family radiate with joyous smiles. This heartwarming image prompted fans to leave comments and likes. At 1.72 meters tall, the 34-year-old Kim Ha Na stands as a prominent figure in Korean badminton women’s doubles. Notably, in the 2012 London Olympics, her partner Jung Kyung Eun was embroiled in controversy during a match against the Chinese team’s Yu Yang/Wang Xiaoli pair and was subsequently disqualified. Following this incident, Kim Ha Na redirected her focus to mixed doubles, achieving top-ranking status with her partnership with Ko Sung Hyun. In the 2017 Sudirman Cup mixed team competition, Kim Ha Na, as a seasoned player, led the South Korean team to a surprising victory over the Chinese team, clinching the championship title, marking the pinnacle of her sports career. Post-2020, Kim Ha Na’s international presence has significantly waned, with sightings primarily limited to events in South Korea. Nevertheless, she remains the emblematic face of the Korean badminton team, adored for her endearing charm, consistently ranking among the top ten goddesses in world badminton.
