[Saba Sports News] Sheffield Wednesday, an English
Championship club, is currently positioned at the bottom of the league table
and is facing significant financial challenges. Due to major cash flow problems,
the players and staff have not received their wages for this month. In an
interview, the club’s Thai owner, Dejphon Chansiri, stated that approximately
£2 million is required to settle the outstanding payments. It is crucial that
all arrears are paid before November 10 to avoid a three-window transfer ban.
Chansiri has appealed to the fans to contribute actively and help the club
overcome these difficulties. He mentioned that if 20,000 fans each donated
£100, the club would accumulate £2 million.
