Sports News] According to reports from British media, a goalkeeper glove spray
company is in discussions with Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana
regarding a potential partnership. The discussions come after a video of Onana
applying Vaseline to his gloves during a previous match went viral on social
media. It was later revealed that Onana used Vaseline to soften the latex on
his gloves, enhancing their grip by making them moist. GloveGlu, a company that
collaborates with Onana’s glove supplier Rinat, is interested in partnering
with the Manchester United goalkeeper and providing him with their grip spray
instead of Vaseline. Reports indicate that Onana is enthusiastic about the
possibility of working with GloveGlu. To address any concerns he may have about
the product, the company has sent a bottle of the spray to the Carrington
training base for Onana to try. It is anticipated that Onana may utilize the
new product in the upcoming match against Bournemouth this weekend.
