[Saba Sports News] Ravi Shastri praised David Warner’s entertaining batting skills as Warner’s daughters, Ivy Mae and Indi Rae, turned into journalists, interviewing cricket luminaries like Ravi Shastri, Michael Hussey, Pat Cummins, Brad Haddin, and Alyssa Healy. This occurred as Australia prepared for a three-match Test series against Pakistan, starting December 14 at Perth’s Optus Stadium. The series is notable as Warner’s last in red-ball cricket.

In a video by Kayo Sports, Ivy asked Shastri about the player he’s most excited to watch, to which he affectionately mentioned her father.
“He has been entertaining us with his batting for so many years, it’s your dad,” he shared.
Other interviews included Ivy querying Hussey, Cummins, and Healy about their childhood cricket idols. Hussey admired Allan Border, Cummins respected Brett Lee, and Healy looked up to Ricky Ponting and Belinda Clarke.
Indi interviewed former player Brad Haddin, who humorously struggled to remember David Warner’s name while listing his favorite players. Additionally, Hussey light-heartedly named Warner as his most annoying teammate in response to Ivy’s question.
Warner recently excelled in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India, leading Australia to their sixth title and finishing as the top run-scorer with 535 runs in 11 games. In Test cricket, Warner has scored 8487 runs, including 25 centuries, with a standout 335 not out against Pakistan in 2019.
