[Saba Sports News] Australia announced their 13-member squad for the second Test of the ongoing three-match series versus Pakistan on Monday.
Australia are likely to game with the same playing XI, having won the last match comprehensively by 360 runs.
The only change in the squad comes in the form of tearaway pacer Lance Morris, who has been released to play in the Big Bash League (BBL).
Scott Boland will be the back-up fast-bowler to the pace trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood. In case there is need of an extra batter or an all-rounder, Cameron Green would fill in that spot.
Talking about the opening Test, David Warner scored 164 runs in the first innings to take Australia’s total to 487 runs. The hosts declared at 233/5 in the second innings with a lead of 449 runs.
Pakistan failed to impress with the bat, losing by 360 runs in the end.
Australia squad: David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey (wk), Pat Cummins (c), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland, Cameron Green.
