[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British media, Chelsea
have chosen to postpone a decision regarding surgery for Reece James’ hamstring
injury. The club has reservations about the necessity of surgery in his case.
Reece James sustained the hamstring injury during a match against Everton.
Earlier in the season, he already missed two months due to a hamstring injury.
It is reported that Reece James is reluctant to rush into surgery, and all
parties involved are seeking additional opinions to determine whether surgical
intervention is required. Without surgery, his recovery time could extend up to
four months, while with surgery, it may take three to six months for him to
fully recover. Regardless of the decision on surgery, it is expected that Reece
James will be absent for a significant portion of the season, which is
undoubtedly a setback for both Chelsea and the England national team.
Considering that the announcement of the Euros squad is approaching and England
have only two games left, this injury could put Reece James at a disadvantage
if the injury is as severe as feared.
