Sports News] Dani Alves, who was recently released on bail, is currently facing
a lawsuit in Brazil for alleged copyright infringement of someone else’s music.
It has been reported that in 2020, Alves released a song titled
“Aviao” as part of a United Nations project aimed at combating
misinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The song featured
collaborations with renowned singers, including Carlinhos Brown. However, two
musicians have now come forward, claiming that they were the actual songwriters
and that Alves was not involved in the creation process. They are demanding
compensation for their alleged losses. Alves has strongly denied these
accusations, asserting that the two individuals are attempting to unlawfully
profit through unfair means. Due to a court order in Barcelona, where Alves is
currently facing a sexual assault case, he is unable to leave Spain and can only
participate in the copyright case hearing through online video conferencing.
