Sports News] According to reports from French media, Chelsea winger Angelo is
facing the likelihood of ending his season prematurely. It has been revealed
that Angelo has returned to London for treatment due to a hernia problem, which
will result in him missing the remainder of the season. Angelo, who was loaned
to Strasbourg by Chelsea this season, will now be unable to continue his loan
spell. Strasbourg, having the same owner as Chelsea, refrained from recruiting
additional wingers during the winter transfer window in order to support
Angelo’s development. The 19-year-old joined Chelsea from Santos last summer in
a transfer worth 15 million euros before being promptly loaned out to
Strasbourg. In Ligue 1 this season, Angelo made a total of 21 appearances,
contributing with 4 assists. Additionally, he also participated in 4 matches in
the French Cup. Angelo’s absence will undoubtedly be a significant setback for
Strasbourg.
