Sports News] The Football Association of England recently announced the
scheduled time for the FA Cup semi-final match between Manchester United and
Coventry, which will take place at 3:30 p.m. local time on April 21. However,
it coincides with Manchester United owner James Ratcliffe’s participation in
the London Marathon on the same day. Reports indicate that the marathon
typically starts around 10:30 a.m., and the 71-year-old Ratcliffe will need to
surpass his personal record of 4 hours and 30 minutes from last year in order
to reach Wembley Stadium on time. The marathon begins in Greenwich, East
London, and winds its way through the city, concluding in Westminster. It takes
approximately an hour to travel from the marathon’s finish line to Wembley,
whether by car or public transport. Notably, Ratcliffe is known for his
adventurous spirit, having previously completed challenging endeavors such as
the Marathon des Sables, an ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert, and
explorations of the North and South Poles. At the age of 64, Ratcliffe even
accomplished a triathlon, which involved a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride,
and a 26.2-mile run.
