Sports News] According to British media reports, Scott McTominay, the
Manchester United football star, has suffered a financial loss due to the
bankruptcy of the company of his fiancee’s. The company, Fortress Capital
Partners, has reportedly gone bankrupt with debts amounting to £18 million and
a loss of £230 million. Many investors who had lent money to the company have
lost their investments. Furthermore, it is reported that McTominay’s fiancee
and her family have spent millions of pounds on luxury investment properties in
the UK, Dubai, and Spain. McTominay himself had also lent £1 million to the
company for the purchase of a property in Portugal. Unfortunately, it has been
confirmed by administrators that investors can only expect to receive 10 pence
for every pound invested, meaning McTominay will only recover £100,000 from his
investment.
