[Saba Sports News] A hearing was recently conducted to address the
accusations of inappropriate behavior against Red Bull F1 team Principal
Christian Horner by a female subordinate. Ford, Red Bull’s engine partner for
2026, is closely monitoring the outcome of Red Bull’s investigation into
Horner. Mark Rushbrook, head of Ford Motorsports, stated, “As a
family-owned company that upholds high standards of conduct and integrity, we
expect the same from our partners.” Ford sent a letter to the Red Bull F1
team last week, requesting transparency in the investigation into Horner and
urging Red Bull to handle the allegations openly. Some fans have noted that
while Ford has not exerted pressure on the racing team to make specific decisions,
its strong moral values indicate its stance on Horner. If the allegations
against Horner are substantiated, it is likely that he will be internally
dismissed. It has been reported that Horner proposed an out-of-court settlement
and offered £650,000 to resolve the matter privately, but his offer was
declined. The female employee has filed a lawsuit with the court. Currently,
Horner is on vacation and has been unreachable by phone, providing no direct
response to the issue.
