[Saba Sports News] The ODI World Cup 2023, hosted entirely by India for the first time, begins on October 5. Adidas, India’s jersey sponsor, unveiled the team’s jersey through a promo featuring star players like Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya.
The jersey changes include removing Dream11 branding from the front and adding tricolour stripes on the shoulder, along with two stars symbolizing India’s two World Cup wins.
India is set to face Australia in a three-match ODI series starting on September 22, providing valuable preparation for the World Cup. Notably, their World Cup campaign kicks off against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
This series will help both teams understand each other’s tactics and squad combinations before the marquee tournament.
