[Saba Sports News] After suffering a 1-2 defeat at
home to Catanzaro in a recent Serie B match, Sampdoria are reportedly
considering replacing coach Andrea Pirlo this month. Sampdoria, a team that
competed in Serie A last season, have been underperforming this season, and the
leadership abilities of their coach, Andrea Pirlo, who is a legendary star of
Italian football, have been widely criticised. The club’s objective for this
season is to secure promotion back to Serie A. However, with only one win so
far, they are currently far from achieving that goal. Confidence in Pirlo’s
coaching abilities is starting to waver within the club. According to internal
sources, Sampdoria are expected to give Pirlo another chance in the upcoming
match against Ascoli before making a coaching change during the subsequent
international break.
