[Saba Sports News] In the second round of the
Champions League group stage, AC Milan will face Dortmund as the away team. AC
Milan have taken measures to prepare for the challenging atmosphere they will
encounter at Dortmund’s home stadium. Italian media reports indicate that in AC
Milan’s final training session before the game, the club used speakers to play
the sounds of cheers from Dortmund’s home fans. This was done to help the
players familiarise themselves with the intense atmosphere they can expect at
Dortmund’s famous home stadium. The report also mentions that before departing
for Dortmund, AC Milan played recordings of the cheers from Dortmund’s home
fans through the radio at their training ground. Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund’s
home stadium, is known for its passionate supporters, and for this particular
Champions League match, standing tickets were available and quickly sold out.
As a result, 81,000 fans are expected to be in attendance at Dortmund’s home
ground to witness the game.
