[Saba Sports. News] The ODI World Cup 2023 is in full swing, and the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad is now ready to host a World Cup match.
The upcoming clash between Pakistan and the Netherlands, the second game of the ODI World Cup, will take place in Hyderabad. In preparation for the event, Telangana police have deployed 1,500 officers to ensure security at the stadium. Additionally, 360 CCTV cameras have been strategically placed in and around the stadium to monitor crowd activity.
To accommodate spectators, 18 parking spots for both two- and four-wheel vehicles have been arranged, and attendees are encouraged to use metro services to avoid traffic congestion. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, with a capacity of approximately 39,000, is fully prepared to host its first ODI World Cup match.
Hyderabad has transformed into a high-security zone ahead of the Pakistan vs. Netherlands fixture. The Rachakonda police commissioner, D. S. Chauhan, has established a joint command and control room on the south side of the venue to monitor CCTV footage and respond promptly to any issues.
Gate 1 of the stadium will be exclusively for players, and fans will enter through designated gates according to their tickets. Additionally, an evacuation plan is in place if needed.
As the exciting clash between Pakistan and the Netherlands approaches, all eyes are on Hyderabad to see how the teams perform as they kick off their ODI World Cup campaigns.
