[Saba Sports News] Recent reports from British media
indicate that Manchester United have informed Mason Greenwood that,
irrespective of his performance during his loan tenure at Getafe, he will not
be granted a chance to return and play for the Red Devils. In February of this
year, charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and actual
harm against Greenwood were dropped by the police. However, since January 2022,
the English star has not featured in any matches for Manchester United.
Greenwood joined Getafe on loan before the summer transfer window closed. So
far this season, he has made five appearances for Getafe, including two starts,
scoring one goal and providing one assist. Greenwood’s current contract with
Manchester United is set to expire in June 2025, and his current market value
is estimated to be only 5 million euros.
